Bluegrass Lending Group had a consented outreach list and a clear question for each borrower on it. What it did not have was a calling team large enough to ask the question at scale. An outbound RevDesk agent handled the first conversation, qualified the borrower, and booked the next step for a person.
The challenge
Lending outreach is a numbers problem with a quality constraint. A list of thousands of small-business owners is only worth working if each conversation is handled well: the right opening, the right questions, and an honest read on whether the borrower is interested or just being polite. Hiring and training callers to that standard takes months, and the campaign would have been over before the team was ready.
The list also came with rules. Every contact was consented, and the campaign had to respect calling windows, opt-outs, and the exclusions the lender set before the first dial.
What RevDesk took on
Bluegrass prepared the audience, the exclusions, and the qualification script. RevDesk ran the motion: reach out, handle the first-pass questions, qualify the borrower against the lender's criteria, and put a real conversation on a banker's calendar when the fit was there.
The agent hears how a conversation is going, not just what is said. Hesitation, interest, and the rush before a hang-up all shape what it does next, which is where scripted dialers usually lose the borrower.
How the six weeks went
Over six weeks the campaign held roughly 12,000 conversations. Each qualified lead cost about $44 to produce, and each conversation cost about eleven cents. Those figures come from RevDesk's own campaign data for the deployment.
Borrowers who qualified were handed to a person with the full conversation attached, including the answers the lender needed. Borrowers who declined, asked not to be contacted, or reached a wrong number were recorded as such and never called again.
What changed for the team
The bankers took calls with people who had already said they were interested and already answered the basic questions. The reporting showed, by day and by outcome, what the campaign was doing, so the lender could see cost per lead as it happened rather than after the fact.
Why it matters
This is the deployment that proved the outbound math for RevDesk. A campaign of this size, handled to a consistent standard, can be run by a small team when the conversations themselves are not the bottleneck.
